Beauty in Every Season: Shoots, Skin, and the Stories We Tell
This season has been full of pinch-me moments, the kind that remind me how much beauty lives in the in-between. The in-between bookings, the in-between brush strokes, the in-between seasons of life and business.
If you’ve been following along, you already know I love weddings and makeup, but even more than that, I love the stories that unfold in the process. And lately? There have been so many good ones.
Four Seasons, Forever Inspo
A recent shoot with the Four Seasons reminded me why I’m still head-over-heels for this work. The vibe was elegant, refined, and modern, everything I love in a bridal aesthetic. We focused on luminous skin, thoughtful details, and a bridal beauty look that felt fresh, not forced.
There’s something really special about collaborating in a space that holds so much intention. It’s not just about hair and makeup. It’s about energy. It’s about helping someone feel like the most elevated version of themselves. We nailed it, and I can’t wait to share more behind-the-scenes from this one soon. For now, peek at a few sneak peeks over on Instagram.
Prada Beauty + A Bit of Magic
One of my favorite experiences this month? Attending a Prada Beauty event left me feeling creatively recharged. There’s just something about being in a room full of artists, innovators, and industry leaders that shifts your perspective.
Prada’s approach to skin-first beauty totally aligns with my philosophy: let the skin shine, enhance what’s already there, and trust in the less-is-more magic. It's an energy I’m carrying with me into my upcoming bridal season.
Wight Down The Aisle: New Content, Same Heart
Content creation is no longer a “maybe.” It’s a must. We’re currently booking Wight Down the Aisle through winter and already filling fast for 2026. Whether you’re planning a black-tie city wedding or a backyard celebration with heart, having someone to capture the real moments—quiet, chaotic, unfiltered—makes all the difference.
Follow along @wightdowntheaisle and reach out if your date’s still available.
Makeup Lessons Are Back!
One of my favorite parts of this work is teaching, and I’m thrilled to bring back makeup lessons this season. These sessions are for everyone: brides, besties, beauty lovers, or beginners. We’ll go over personalized routines, product picks, and the techniques that work for your face.
Whether you’re trying to simplify your everyday look or want to master a full glam glow-up. I've got you.
Skin First, Always
A flawless face always starts with good skin. That’s why I’m still obsessed with SkinSpirit in University Village, especially Kayla and Megan. I’ve been sending clients there for dermaplaning and facials, and the results speak for themselves.
Pro tip: Mention my name when you book for a special referral discount. Because good skin is always worth the investment, especially when you’re prepping for a big moment.
And if you need something to listen to while you sip your iced matcha:

Thanks, as always, for being here. Whether you're a client, collaborator, or someone who's just followed along on this journey, I appreciate you more than you know. There’s beauty in every season, and I’m so glad to be creating through it all.
With love and lashes,
Michelle
